Refund and Returns Policy

At Techtivus, we value transparency and client satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may or may not be issued for our services.

1. General Policy

All payments made to Techtivus are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement or proposal. Due to the custom nature of our services, refunds are limited and subject to the conditions below.

2. Advance & Deposit Payments

  • Advance payments or deposits are non-refundable
  • These payments secure project scheduling, resources, and initial work
  • Once a project has started, the deposit cannot be reclaimed

3. Project-Based Services

Refunds are not applicable once:

  • Project work has commenced
  • Designs, wireframes, or code have been delivered
  • Client approvals have been provided

If a project is cancelled by the client after work has begun, the client will be billed for all work completed up to that point.

4. Service Dissatisfaction

If you are dissatisfied with our services:

  • You must notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery
  • We will attempt to resolve the issue through revisions or corrections
  • Refunds will not be issued for subjective preferences or change of mind

Our obligation is limited to correcting errors that do not meet the agreed scope.

5. Delays & Client Responsibility

No refunds will be provided for delays caused by:

  • Late content submission
  • Delayed approvals or feedback
  • Scope changes requested by the client
  • Third-party service issues

6. Monthly Services & Subscriptions

For recurring services (maintenance, SEO, marketing, hosting):

  • Payments are billed in advance
  • No refunds for partially used billing periods
  • Cancellation must be requested before the next billing cycle

7. Third-Party Costs

Refunds do not apply to:

  • Domain registration fees
  • Hosting fees
  • Plugin, theme, or software licenses
  • Third-party subscriptions or API charges

These costs are governed by their respective providers.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered only if:

  • Techtivus fails to deliver the agreed service entirely
  • No work has been initiated
  • A written refund agreement exists

Any approved refund will be processed within 7–14 business days and may exclude transaction or processing fees.

9. Chargebacks & Disputes

Clients agree to contact Techtivus first to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Immediate service suspension
  • Termination of ongoing projects
  • Legal action if necessary

10. Policy Changes

Techtivus reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
